Dario Echeverry took the decision to start racing the most demanding racing cars classes: the PROFESSIONAL GO-KART CLASSES, and to BECOME NUMBER 1 in the classes he would compete. Every experienced and active  race car driver, including Michael Schumacher ( 7 time Formula 1 champion), Juan Pablo Montoya, Fernando Alonso, Tony kanahn, Jeff Gordon,  stay in shape practicing and competing  in  Go Karts. In one single 2 hour practice, one can loose in average five pounds of weight and  three thousand calories. Every young kid (at age 4 or 5)in the world starts now with go-karts in order to look for a place in formulas and Nascars we he will be 17 years old. The best example is Louis Hamilton, who just started Formula1 with the Mc Laren-Mercedes team. His mentor, Don Renis (team director for more than 12 years) started with Loluis in go-karts, fifteen years ago! Now, Hamilton is the only rookie ever to have finished with podium in his first three races.

In early 2001, Dario Echeverry started MOTOR KART CLUB (3990 NW, 132nd street Unit J, Opa Locka, Florida, 33054), a Miami based team to begin racing in a professional way. Since then, the Club has been located inside the Opa Locka race track. A full ware house (1600 sq ft) contains the team, more than 50 professional go-karts , all the equipment and tools, a trailer and 4 mechanics dedicated full time to the project.
